Робоча поїздка до Університету Кардіфф Метрополітен. День 1

On 15 January 2024, a delegation from H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, headed by Rector, Professor Yurii Boichuk, started a working visit to Cardiff Metropolitan University (Wales, UK) as a part of the Twinning initiative.

Partnership with Cardiff Met began in April 2022, and it involves students and academic staff mobility, implementation of joint research projects, and cultural interaction.

On the first day of the visit, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof Rachael Langford briefed the delegation on the University history and its current activities.

The CardiffMet Schools Associate Deans presented the main degree programmes and research areas.

An overview of the academic mobility programmes for students and staff was presented by Rowena Kidger, Global Opportunities Manager.

Joanna Hendy, Director of Learning Enhancement, familiarised the delegation with the further education and professional development system at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Michael Seery, Head of Digital Learning Principal Lecturer, told about digital technologies, online educational platforms and teaching and learning digital support at the university.
