International Education Center
The Center coordinates the studies of international students — from the invitation for study to graduation documents.
The education of international students at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University is coordinated by the International Education Center and is conducted in both full-time (daytime) and part-time modes under accredited educational programs, based on documents of prior education. These documents must be certified in the country of their issuance by the method officially accepted in that country and legalized by the relevant foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine, unless otherwise provided for by international treaties of Ukraine.
Priority areas of activity
- recruiting international citizens for studies at the University;
- admission of international applicants;
- processing of applicants’ documents;
- organization of entrance examinations;
- managing admission documentation;
- entering information about foreign applicants into the Unified State Electronic Database on Education;
- entering information about foreign applicants into the Unified Interdepartmental Information System of Ukraine for Foreigners and Stateless Persons;
- preparing documents for the issuance or cancellation of temporary residence permits in Ukraine through the Main Directorate of the State Migration Service in Kharkiv Region for international students of the University;
- organizing the recognition procedure for documents of prior education obtained outside Ukraine, through the State Enterprise “Information and Image Center” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
- preparing graduation documents;
- organizing the legalization of educational documents received at the University by international graduates through the State Enterprise “Information and Image Center” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;
- enrolling students in the Preparatory Department and organizing the educational process within the department;
- maintaining regular reporting for the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Migration Service, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Center for International Education, and corresponding correspondence with Ukrainian and foreign embassies and consulates.

Preparatory Department for international students
The Preparatory Department is a unit of the University that develops the language competence of foreign citizens for further study at H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University or another Ukrainian educational institution.
